The Challenge
The BPT Group required a website that would give them the opportunity to advertise business events and training seminars from around the world and allow visitors to book online. The site also required membership facilities for worldwide registrations and allow for membership benefits. The site also needed to allow user generated content to be submitted for a review.
The Approach
Senior decided that the best solution for the BTPG would be to use the Senior CPE (Content Publishing Engine) and build the site around the solution so that all membership and content management could be handled from one online application. The Senior CPE also allows for user generated content to be submitted through the site, this allowed for multiple contributors and edits to create content for the site.
The Results
The BPT Group website makes full use on the Senior CPE, making use of its content management utilities to keep the website up to date and to add all the current events and training seminars from around the world. The Senior CPE also has the membership facilities that BPTG required and allow for members to be organised. Using just one web based application to organise member, manage website content and events makes for a simple yet powerful and versatile solution for the BPT Group.
The Senior CPE also automatically generates specific search engine optimisation for user contributed articles. The contributor or editor can tag each article with keywords from a centralised keyword system and write a keyword rich abstract. When published, the system then automatically creates an optimised page with an optimised URL, page title, headers and content – in fact everything that’s needed to get ‘long-tail’ page 1 listings in Google and other major search engines.
